Overlooked Urban Water

Here locally there's a persistent belief that our local river is more raw sewage and toxic waste than actual water. I'm not sure why , but the majority of people are extremely wary of it , even though the water is fairly clean by just about any standard. There are factories on the water that have fed the myth of toxic sludge being pumped into the water by greedy capitalists , or something. Everybody else can believe what they want , I know the fish look healthy and there are thousands of them if you know where to look. It's been fun doing some urban exploration the last few days...
