Whoa Boy! Merry Christmas

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, and a very Happy New Year!

I'm a scrooge this year, due to an utter lack of time on the water. With the floods, and the hurricanes, and the first few N'oreasters of the year. Holy crap. 2018 is the wettest year we've had here since record keeping began, or as fishermen and amateur meterologists like to say : " HORSESHIT" , or maybe it was "BULLSHIT". I struggle with technical terms.

This is the least I've fished through Spring, Summer and Fall for over 20 years, and that's saying something. 10 years ago (or so) it was an extremely dry year, and that ruins a lot of the water I fish, too. Stuff happens, and it certainly doesn't do any good to complain.

It just feels good.

Stay safe, and stay warm my friends!

The only decent fish I caught this year :

And the best caught on camera :

Bring on 2019!

  1. Merry Christmas Josh and it's good to know you're still out there... somewhere.

At least after 2 years of waiting for a post, you honor us with a decent smallie and a good river shot.

Hope you have a drier 2019.

  2. Hey Josh,

    Happy New Year!

Actually, the situation was nearly the same with me during 2018. Lack of time and only few fishing trips. Let's hope 2019 will be better :)

Let's hear what YOU have to say...
